Upgrade Policy

Upgrade discounts apply only to products previously purchased.

Upgrades within the version are generally free. To upgrade within a major version simply download the latest build of the product from the Download Area and use your original information.

All valid customers of Solveig Multimedia are eligible for new versions of the purchased product using the Upgrade Discount (the discount applies to the standard price specified on our website) or for free if the software was purchased within the “grace period.”

A 50% discount when upgrading major versions of HyperCam, Video Splitter and WMP Trimmer Plugin.

Сustomers who purchased SolveigMM Video Splitter 2.5 version from December 19, 2011 to January 19, 2012, receive a free upgrade to 3.x version. Customers who purchased versions 1.x and 2.x outside of those dates receive a 50% discount when upgrading to the 3.x version.

Сustomers who purchased HyperCam version 2 from September 8 , 2009 to December 8, 2009 receive free upgrades to 3.x version. Customers who purchased version 2 outside of those dates receive a 50% discount when upgrading to the 3.x version.

Сustomers who purchased WMP Trimmer Plugin version 1.5 from August 15, 2010 to November 14, 2010 receive free upgrades to 2.x version. Customers who purchased version 1.x to 2.x receive a 50% discount when upgrading to the 3.x version.

Types of licenses

Personal license - "End User" (personal usage) means any individual or entity that purchases or otherwise obtains the Software, either as a stand-alone or as an integrated part of the SolveigMM's Product for personal use or use within the company but not for Commercial use, re-selling, transferring or any other form of distribution

Portable version; Personal license - The license is valid for usage in one portable storage device, e.g. USB -stick. An additional license is required for each additional storage device

Commercial license - "Commercial use" means usage in any such manner where the results of using the Software are intended primarily for the End User's direct revenue-generating use or is intended to serve as a main resource to generate revenue for the End User, including monitoring and testing equipment
