Solveig Multimedia launches Zond 265 3.0 with seamless HEVC stream validation

 
Following the success at NAB Show and KOBA 2015, Solveig unveils Zond 265, ver. 3.0, for the general public 

 

July 6, 2015 – Tomsk, Russia. Solveig Multimedia, a leading provider of video editing and analysis software, unveils a new major edition of Zond 265 – HEVC Video analyzer, version 3.0. The new product was first announced and demonstrated at Nab Show 2015 (Las Vegas, April 13 – 16) and KOBA 2015 (Seoul, May 19 – 22). From now on, the product is available for commercial use.

A market pioneer, Zond 265 delivered full compliance with 'High Efficiency Video Coding' (HEVC) standard back in 2012 and provided software engineers with a powerful tool to develop H.265-ready software. The latest edition comes up with optimized HEVC stream validation and a bunch of exciting features.

Features and improvements include:

•    HEVC stream validation conformance based on the spec in GUI and CLI
•    Compatible with reference software HM 16.5
•    New HRD building mode. CPB fullness analysis based on SEI messages of the stream
•    GOP length statistics
•    Expansion of NAL unit headers in Bitstream tab
•    Specific highlighting of key frames on Frame Bars tab
•    Simplified management of personal and floating licenses
•    Added GUI management to the license server, and more.

Pricing and availability

The new Zond 265, ver. 3.0, is available for purchase at Solveig’s website starting at $1,390 excl. VAT for personal license and $2,990 excl. VAT for floating license.
The license covers a 1-year maintenance plan that encompasses technical support, updates and upgrades to major editions.
Maintenance renewals are available for $345 (personal license) / $750 (floating license).
