The SolveigMM solution continues to gain recognition on the professional market: the long-term partner nablet announced its SmartRender (SR) Editor and SR SDK with high-performance processing of XAVC and XDCAM formats – built on SolveigMM Video Editing SDK. The smart rendering technology boosts encoding times by 400 percent and enables impressive cost savings over classic XAVC encoding. Solveig Multimedia and its partner nablet will showcase the brand-new Zond 265 4.1 at NAB Show, Las Vegas, April 9–12, 2018 (booth SU1371). The new edition of HEVC video analyzer Zond 4.1 incorporates the Netflix VMAF metric for quality estimation. The software leverages this technique to compare an original YUV file with a preloaded video file. Correlating with human perception, this metric enables more precise video assessment after compression.
The latest Zond edition comes on the heels of a major update – version 4 – that greatly expanded the product’s compatibility matrix with more supported codecs (AV1 in WebM, MPEG-2, SCC, etc.). Check out the brand-new Zond 4.1! Read more in the press release.
