Thanks for your question.

Unfortunately there is no such feature in Video Splitter at the present time. We will add it in Video Splitter future releases.

But you can delete it manually from the Windows Registry Editor.
To do it:

1) Go to Start > Run and enter "regedit".  Registry Editor window will appear.
2) Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Solveig Multimedia\SolveigMM Video Splitter\AVITrimmerApp\Recent File List

and delete "Recent File List folder" or files which it contains.

There are really some problems with editing of m2ts files with AVC video.

I've not reproduced exactly the same problem that you've described, so could you please send me your file and please specify start/stop times of the selected fragment.

You can use one of the public file host services to send it. For example this one: or which comes with 2 GB free space for file sharing.

Hello HyperCammer,

Please try to change video settings before the recording (go to "Options", "Video" tab):

- try to increase the value in the "Rate in frames per second" field.
- try different codecs settings from "Video compressor" combo box.

If this will not help, please describe more detailed with what Audio/Video settings does it happen and what do you try to capture?

Yes, the latest Video Splitter 2.3 is compatible with Windows 7,  64 bit. This product works well both on 32 bit systems and on 64 bits. It've received officail mark "Compatible with Windows 7" from Microsoft corporation.

Probem with VOB files trimming

Q:-> When I open VOB file in Windows Media Player,  it says "The file has zero duration" and WMP Trimmmer Plugin therefore can't trim it.

A:-> Try to rename your VOB file before editing. For example from My_file.VOB  to My_file.MPG
Then open it in Windows Media Player.

Q: -> Why HyperCam records black screen instead of capturing screen activities?
A: -> This issue can be caused by ZoneAlarm antivirus program  and its component, ZoneAlarm Browser Security.  It prevents HyperCAM from "seeing" a browser window at all - which is why it records black.

To prevent this your should make such settings before recording. Go to the settings of "Browser security" component.
And check "Only in allegedly secure sessions (https)" item instead of "Always".

Then you can make your records with HyperCam.

SolveigMM AVI Trimmer / Re: Uninstall problem

Hello Taper,

Please try to close all running programs before AVI Trimmer uninslalling, especially from the taskbar,  because they may cause this conflict for AVG security.

Please check if "Unlocker" program is not launched during the installation.

I think with your help we can find out why this error can occure.

Please try to record log files for we could find out the problem reason on our side.

To get them please follow this steps:

1. Launch enable_log.bat file (please download it from here:
2. Launch HyperCam.

3. After HperCam will close, go to  C:\My Documents\HyperCam 3\LOG and send to us please all recorded files from "LOG" folder  to support (at) (you can use WinRAR, WinZIP for convenience).
