This January Solveig Multimedia proudly presents Zond 265, ver. 2.0, with a bunch of new features. The major of them include detection of HEVC stream errors, H.264/AVC support in release mode and Mac OS X version of Zond for HEVC streams. The new 2.0 version also supports MPEG-2 Transport Stream for HEVC/H.265 and AVC/H.264 streams, supports 4:4:4, 4:2:2, 4:0:0 chroma format for HEVC and 10 bits video compression for HEVC. The product is equipped with optimized CLI report generation process for multiple simultaneous reports per run and is compatible with the reference software HM 16.2. Zond 265 is a pioneering HEVC Video analyzer. HEVC stands for 'High Efficiency Video Coding', also known as H.265, and Zond was the first solution to support this standard, enabling developers all over the world to create H.265-compliant software and codecs. Zond 265 allows software engineers to pull the necessary data per frame and per block and adjust their codecs and devices to HEVC requirements. Solveig Multimedia delivers new HyperCam 5.5 with easy video restore.

HyperCam 5.5 delivers a killer stability feature - MP4 Safe Recording Mode. Should the system crash or freeze, an MP4 file under recording will remain functional, so you’ll be able to play back the video once the system restores.

Ver. 5.5 also adds the ‘Use Desktop Duplication API’ option in the business edition to enable higher FPS on recording. More features include a revamped HyperCam Media Editor with improved timeline and the ability to reset a previous activation by deleting the license.

Solveig Multimedia proudly announces the latest update to its Video Splitter for MacOS (version 4). The software has been available to MacOS users for over two years letting Apple fans remove unwanted video fragments and cut/join video streams with ease. Like its Windows sibling, the Mac version comes with a friendly UI and enables frame accurate editing at a minimum cost. What’s new in the latest update? First and foremost, it’s the support for MP4 HEVC files with up to 4K resolution. Other novelties include support for MPEG-TS (HEVC/AVC, AAC/AC3/EAC3) files and MP4 files from Swann security cameras NVR-8580 (HEVC, PCM ALAW). The solution is now available at Mac App Store for only $29.99.
