We’ve listened to your ideas, and now we’re proud to announce the release of the new Video Splitter 8. This version is a massive upgrade from its predecessor, packed with exciting features to make your work more effective, exciting and easy.
The upgrade adds support of the 4K files that became very popular nowadays in the Home Edition. The other feature introduced in the Video Splitter is a floating license that makes it possible to work on up to 5 PCs. For the professionals we added a new Broadcast Edition that that supports MXF XDCAM and MXF XAVC files.
These are not all features of the version 8. It also includes a support for "Dark" and "Light" themes, zoom video in preview, "compare files" mode in Business Edition and others. We are pleased to anounce a new major version of the Video Editing SDK for Linux. In addition to its base smart rendering functionality, we implemented a support of different effects and transitions. Now it is possible to add Fade-in, Fade-out, Dissolve transitions to your video as well as overlay pictures on a video or convert pictures into a video file.
The other important novelty is a support of the MXF XAVC format intended mostly for a professional digital media use cases.

Solveig Multimedia continues to improve its professional analyzer Zond 265: we are happy to announce the release of Zond 265 Mac OS version with AV1 codec support. We have also included OBU streams support for AV1 and the display of the decoding errors on opening AV1 files for Windows and Mac OS versions of Zond 265. Solveig Multimedia moves on researching and integrating EVC standard: Zond 265 had been updated for the compatibility with the most recent ETM v.7.3 EVC reference software. EVC support had also been added to the Mac OS and Linux version of Zond 265. Please check the complete list of changes and try the updated version of Zond 265.

Solveig Multimedia presented Zond 265 with EVC support as a contribution to deploy EVC standard at the MPEG Working group in July 2021.
