Solveig Multimedia presents a free video trimmer – from now on supporting MKV!
Solveig Multimedia announces the release of a beta-version of a video editor, which now supports not only AVI, but also MKV files - SolveigMM AVI Trimmer+MKV 2.0 Beta. This uncomplicated, convenient and free solution is meant for quick trimming of video and audio tracks, not affecting quality and synchronization.
SolveigMM AVI Trimmer+MKV 2.0 Beta will be quite useful for common users as well: it enables the user to select the most interesting fragments for uploading to social networks, blogs and Youtube, to cut out ads from recorded TV programmes or podcasts and to save audio tracks from any AVI or MKV video as separate files.
The solution is based on SolveigMM Video Editing SDK and supports AVI format (with any video/audio content) and MKV format (video content: AVC, DivX; XviD; MPEG4, etc. and any audio content). Besides, the functions also include scene detection in DV-AVI files and chapter detection in MKV files. AVI Trimmer+MKV 2.0 Beta trims and cuts out fragments almost instantly, as no encoding/decoding is involved. As for the quality and synchronization of the resulting video file, they remain unimpaired.
It should be noted that this video trimmer can process files exceeding 4GB, and the multilingual interface supports English, German, Russian, French, Italian and other widely spoken languages. AVI Trimmer+MKV 2.0 Beta is compatible with Windows XP/ 2000 Windows XP / 2000 / 2003 / Vista / 7.
