HyperCam 3.1 Release is announced. The new version of HyperCam lets you to use the pre-installed Microsoft Screen Codec for high-quality data compression, and, unlike the previous version, to record and to edit not only AVI files, but also WMV and ASF, using codecs like AVC, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and etc. Get more details from official press release.

Solveig Multimedia has announced version 2.0 of SolveigMM WMP Trimmer Plugin, an effective time-saving utility enabling a user to losslessly cut or edit AVI, WMV, ASF, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, WAV, MP3 and WMA files loaded into Windows Media Player. More info in press release

We have uploaded for testing pre-beta version of HyperCam 3.1. Among new features are ability to use Microsoft Screen codec for writing and editing WMV files, usage MPEG-2, AVC/H264 and other pre-installed codecs for ASF file creation, choice to install portable version, switching GUI and help files to localized Russian version. Details are on the forum
