SolveigMM Video Splitter 2.2: Now Featuring Quick File-by-file Splicing without Conversion

Solveig Multimedia has announced the release of SolveigMM Video Splitter 2.2, a new version of a popular video editor for MPEG-2, AVI, WMV, ASF, MP3 and WMA files, losslessly cutting and splicing video/audio segments. Among the newly added features and improvements of the new version there is quick splicing of AVI, WMA/WMV/ASF, MP3 and MPEG-1, MPEG-2 files one by one, without any conversion.

SolveigMM Video Splitter was originally developed in 2005, and since then it has become quite popular with the users from all over the world due to its quickness and effectiveness. The solution can be used for a great number of purposes: to remove unnecessary pieces from home video, to select a certain fragment for sharing with other people, to perform batch processing, to remove ads from recorded TV programs, to censor video/audio files for kids, to edit medical files, e.g. video of endoscopy or surgery. 

The new version of this useful program, Video Splitter 2.2 has been significantly improved and enriched with new features. One of them is worth separate description - it is quick and lossless joining-up of video and audio files of different formats without converting them. Among the supported formats there are AVI, WMA/WMV/ASF, MP3 and MPEG-1, MPEG-2. The only condition is that the files to splice should have the same value of such parameters as bit rate and resolution. 

As for other enhancements, now Video Splitter also supports selection of video/audio programs for MPEG-2 transport streams. The interface has become even more convenient and clear: actually, now the user can edit audio/video files in a couple of mouse clicks!
